One of the biggest names on Instagram right now, @nicholas.case has been dropping some serious heat in the streetwear scene. He's quickly amassed over 70,000 followers in a little bit over a year and is frequently featured on style feeds such as @outfitsociety, @outfittoss, @trillestoutfit and many more. He's worked together with brands big and small including Adidas, Y-3, Herschel, Asos, and Nomad.
We were able to catch up to him this week and ask him about streetwear, his biggest influences, starting a blog, and how it's changed his life.
How long have you been blogging?
I've been blogging for a about a year a now ,on a serious note . Prior to that I was on and off for a year .
Who’s your biggest fashion inspiration? Why?
Biggest fashion inspiration ,that's a tough one to answer . Hands down ,it would have to to Virgil. I love the message he sends to the youth and the amount of support he has created is truly amazing.
What’s your favorite magazine/publication?
Complex , for sure .
What are your favorite trends right now?
As far as trends, I've been staying cozy .I've been more into track pants and some runners. Also vintage clothing. A baggier fit and feel.
What are your favorite sneakers?
All time favorite sneakers would be Jordan's, Bred 1s.
How do you put your outfits together?
Putting an outfit together should just come naturally. Too much thought will kill creativity
How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style usually consist of all black. Whether I'm in track pants and some air max's , or black boots and denim.
We see you often feature your daughter on your story. Does she influence the way you dress? If so, how?
Yea, she is a huge influence to everything I do in life . Now that she is getting older , I think I will start getting her some shots as well .
What made you decide to start an Instagram blog?
I started [blogging] because I love fashion. I thought it was awesome to be able to showcase your creativity while interacting with people who have the same interest.
Who are your favorite bloggers?
My favorite bloggers have to be a friend of mine, @ron_doug . I watched him grow and work hard to get where he wants to be.
How do you keep yourself motivated to keep blogging?
Motivation comes naturally. When I wake up I love to check up on everyone I follow . Seeing everyone working and creating makes me want to keep going .
What’s the biggest difference in your life after you started blogging?
Biggest difference has to be my schedule change . I work 60 hour weeks so time is not my friend. Waking up early before work has to be the biggest difference .

What is the biggest challenge about fashion blogging?
The biggest challenge is not bashing your self when things don't go right. You have to consistently stay patient and not let anything discourage you.
What’s your favorite part about blogging?
Favorite part has to be interacting and meeting new people.
What advice do you have for people who want to start their own Instagram blog?
Best advice I can give is stay consistent . Always have content to drop and always interact back with those who support you .
