Samurai Armor From The 1700s at the British Museum

I have so much respect for the people who dedicate so much of their time and hard work to preserving the past. Being able to see things like this up close and personal is truly amazing, and it's all thanks to these people. Because of them, we're able to see what a Samurai wore up close and personal, able to examine every detail. We're able to imagine wearing the armor and feel how powerful and invincible this samurai was when he wore this suit of armor. I believe armor is very just another form of fashion, just with more function and utility than your ordinary clothes. This armor was made to intimidate and show status as much as it was made to defend the warrior's life in battle
