Great Barrier Reef, Australia  

Stretching over 1000 miles and featuring over 1500 species of fish, the Great Barrier Reef will blow your mind and leave you amazed for days, weeks, even years to come. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe/Zambia

Located in the heart of Africa in between Zimbabwe and Zambia, these waterfalls are the tallest, most dramatic, jaw-dropping waterfalls in the world. Because it is located in between two countries, you need to choose one to start your journey from. Roughly 2/3rds of the falls are located in Zambia. Also, the only way to walk under the falls is from the Zambian side. However, one can easily cross the border by paying for a visa for under $100. If you're brave enough you can try swimming in the naturally occurring "Devils Pool", only feet away from the edge of the fall.

Macchu Picchu, Peru 

The last holdout of the Incan empire, this mountaintop citadel is a marvel of engineering and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Much of the architecture is original and hundreds of years old. Walk through ancient temples, farms, houses, and palaces as you immerse yourself in ancient Native American history and culture. Popular nearby attractions include Winawayna and Huayna Picchu.

Venice, Italy

Famous for its canals, gondolas, and masks, Venice is a truly unique city stuck in time. Running throughout the city is the Grand Canal. This canal is lined with only the most beautiful Venetian buildings on both sides and takes you through the most famous attractions of the city including the Rialto Bridge, the Venetian Market, and the Piazza di San Marco. Gondola rides are usually accessible throughout the city. They can be quite expensive (~$100 for ½ hour) but will truly leave you feeling like a 17^th century Venetian.

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

The largest religious monument in the world, the Angkor Wat was originally constructed as a Hindu temple but transformed into a Buddhist temple over time. The entire temple and all its surroundings were meticulously planned by its architects to represent heaven itself. The entire complex is nearly symmetrical and surrounded by a moat. The temple was abandoned for over 500 years until its rediscovery in the 1800s and continues to awe all its visitors to this very day.
